Stand With Antonia and Wamblee

Antonia is a hardworking and extremely caring dog trainer and caretaker of dogs. When her older Malinois fell ill and needed to be hospitalized last week, she unhesitatingly spared no expense in making sure she had the support she needed to get healthy. It set her back financially but with a little extra work she could recover in time.
But when her just 10-week-old puppy Wamblee tested positive for Parvovirus, an extremely serious virus that can afflict and endanger the lives of young puppies who are still building their immunity, things really turned upside down.
Aside from the immense worry about her puppy's health, life, and long term recovery, she also had to be concerned about whether she could afford his very expensive treatment and hospital stay. Adding insult to injury, because Parvo is contagious, she had to discontinue caring for dogs, which also means cutting off her income.
The cost of care is enormous: hospital stays, IV and subcutaneous fluids and medications, anti-emetics to stop vomiting, anti-diarrhea meds, pushed food to keep weight on the puppy, around the clock care to monitor his temperature and heart rate, blood exams to monitor his white blood cell count and organ function, and more. Supporting a baby dog's delicate system requires intense and very necessary effort to give that puppy the best chance at survival and living the amazing life that Antonia promises to provide him.
Antonia is a woman with an incredible heart, and she never hesitates to help others in need. She volunteers her time fostering rescue dogs, assessing dogs in shelters, assisting multiple rescue organizations, and maintains integrity with all of the clients that she works with. While she would never ask for financial support herself, we hope that her community can show through this fundraiser how much we can be here to support her at a time of particular difficulty.
