January 1st 1982 is when a queen was born by the name of Antonia z. Smith. Antonia had a future for herself. She was a very kind hearted person, a caring person, a best friend, a child of God, a single parent of 4 children, and always gave her last to whoever was in need and many more. Antonia was diagnosed w lupus in 1999 after having her first born child Mario smith. Lupus is An inflammatory disease caused when the immune system attacks its own tissues. Also know as Lupus (SLE) which can affect the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs. Ever since then Antonia has been going thru tremendous battles with her condition, but she never failed to fight. Antonia has overcame a lot with her lupus, she had her highs and lows and never gave up. Antonia has over came 2 open heart surgery’s which led to her having a pacemaker for the rest of her life, she suffered with depression, she had a stroke that led her to lose ability to do certain things that normal people could do. She lost the ability to write like she used to, walk like she used to, smile like she used to, she lost the ability to do things with the right side of her body but it never stopped her from enjoying her life with her children and family and she never lost faith in God. My mother has been thru a lot for her age she was young. She’s been in the hospital constantly due to different reasons. I seen my mother suffer a lot and she still continued to have a beautiful smile and believed in God and also beaten a lot of odds. My mother Antonia has been hospitalized for 43 days due to kidney failure and bleeding in the brain. 43 days later my mother was layed to rest 10/7/22 and our family is struggling to pay for her funeral expenses due to her not being able to get health insurance for her illness. We are asking anyone who can help it doesn’t matter if it’s a $1 whatever u can give would be helpful and may God blesses u.
