Antoine MAURY Memorial Bench and Tree
On October 24, 2016 my friend Laura and her family tragically lost their beloved 21 year old son Antoine.
Antoine, a student in Edinburgh, was a loving, kind and sensitive young man, an avid musician, who touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Antoine leaves behind a devastated mother, father and sister and he’s terribly missed by his family and his friends.
In memory of Antoine, we would like to purchase a bench with a tree planted next to it right by the Duddingston Loch just outside Edinburgh. The bench and tree would be located in the beautiful, peaceful grounds of Doctor Neil's Garden which are maintained by Dr. Neil's Garden Trust. We will also purchase a Duddingston memorial vine (Galloway vine).
This would create a quiet place where anyone could sit, rest and reflect for a while, taking in the beauty and the serenity of an area that Antoine loved so much.
Please help us to create this peaceful place of reflection by donating whatever you can . We are grateful for any donation, large or small.
The cost of the bench with maintenance will be £750, the tree £250 and the Galloway memorial vine £260.
