For the past year my son Anthony has been dealing with pain using the bathroom. For the past year we’ve been stumped and so have many of the urologist we’ve taken him to. Recently we finally found an answer and a solution to his ailment. A urethral stricture. I can’t explain how relieved he was and the family was to finally have found an answer. We were lucky to have found a great doctor and medical team that wanted to help Anthony with his condition as soon as possible. The procedure was set in stone with a date in place. Problem solved!.... not exactly. Because of a national law, his mom would have to be the primary insurance holder on the procedure. Our bill went from reasonable and affordable under my coverage to a very high deductible. None of us have the money to cover these costs unfortunately. So today I ask with hope and prayers that we can find some help to cover the costs for Anthony’s surgery. I ask with a heavy heart and hope that my friends, family and the community around us find any way to help and contribute, anything helps, even a $1 goes a long way.
