Week 3 - Father's day
Of all the hurdles that are the hardest to climb right now ( and boy there are a lot), its the ones I can't shield the girls from that bite the most. Anthony George you gave me 2 of the strongest, bravest most amazing daughters and you are the kindest most fantastic daddy. We all miss you like we miss air and love you just as much.
One more day without you hurts...the ones we should be celebrating you hurt even more.
Happy Fathers Day xx

Week 2

On Wednesday 16th August 2017, Anthony was due to return home from a morning bike ride at 7.30am.   Kristy was busy getting ready for work and prepped their girls for school, Anthony was lucky to have the day off for the “Ekka show holiday”.   Nearing closer to when she needed to leave for work, Kristy gathered the girls into the car and decided to call Anthony before leaving home, he was supposed to be helping with the school run today and the girls were very excited by this notion.
Nothing could‘ve prepared Kristy for what was about to happen next.

It wasn’t Anthony that answered.

To hear the news through the phone, tore through Kristy as she fell to the ground in utter despair.

The moment news broke, I felt gutted with grief and frozen with fear.  The grief for my friend who lost her soul mate (they were so happy together), devastated for their two little girls who have lost their knight in shining armour and worried for a friend who will begin a journey as a single mum, with a new found mortgage, limited funds and limited family to help support her through the moments of loneliness.

The outpouring of love for this family is based wholly on their own ability to touch others hearts.   You can see this from the people Anthony touched, even if you only met the guy twice a year – he made an impression of being a true gentleman who would go to great lengths to give you the shirt off his back and give you a laugh or two aswell.

Funds raised today, will work towards saving their home (recently purchased this year!!), maintaining Meeya and Pipers future education and allowing a grieving friend some comfort from strangers she has never met before.

You can make a difference in their lives today and for the future.

Week 1
Anthony George (08/06/72 - 16/08/2017)

Etched on our hearts and captivating our souls, is the imprint of a human being who could only want a "fairy tale" ending for those he leaves behind.
Anthony George - a true gentleman, fantastic father, hilarious friend, cooperative co-worker, and the up most loving person to all that knew him, was suddenly taken from our lives.

Fairy tales are not meant to end this way...
The story of this prince and princess, is mainly about our prince's most treasured pieces - Anthony leaves behind his soul mate Kristy, son Zayne and daughters Meeya & Piper.  No words can describe the pain they must be going through but I believe from the bottom of my heart, that they were truly happy...no one's life is perfect but through all the ups and downs of life and growing up in a ruthless world, Anthony kept them embraced with love.  This was their happily ever after!!  Only 3 months ago they purchased the home they had been renting for the past 5 years, their own home on a small suburban block of paradise - they filled this home with the essence of fun and love, everything he cherished!!

Give hope to endure...
As we mourn the loss of a wonderful man during this time, we must remember this cannot be the end to his "fairy tale".   Moments lost forever - wedding memories of loved ones gathered, laughter over flat pack instructions, endless trips to Bunnings for home renovations, the list of jobs to do around the home, a shoulder to cry on, the pride of a parent at school assembly and sports events, the first of many daughter dates, the tears of a broken daughter's heart, the wish of a new "fairy tale" as they walk down the aisle, the friendly catch ups and many, many more memories.  The stories you tell here will be memories for the children to keep forever.

A fairy tale never to forget...
Join friends and family and make your heart known by giving to those Anthony loved the most, only heaven knows what tomorrow will bring.

Thank you & wishing you and your family a "happily ever after" xoxoxo
