Anthony (Tony) & Jody Smith
On the morning of October 4th 2017 Anthony (Tony) Smith fell off a 10 foot roof while building a home in Grand Marais his hometown. He was immediately brought to ER where the doctor told him he has a broken calcaneus (heel) and fibula. Fixing these breaks will require at least 2 surgeries and estimated time of recovery is a minimum of 3-6 months or more where Tony will not be able to work. Tony as well as his wife (Jody) and two kids [Jasmine (senior in high school) and Paisley (9th grader)], will need to rely on one income during this time. In an attempt to ease some of the financial burdens of two surgeries, medical costs, hotel stays, countless trips back-and-forth from Grand Marais to Duluth (210 miles round-trip) housing cost, food and substantial loss of income, we are asking for donations for this beautiful family. If you cannot afford to donate but want to help, please keep this family in your thoughts & prayers through this difficult time. We are very grateful for both financial donations and gift of prayer as this will require lots of recovery time for Tony.
