Anthony "Cooley" Riley's Good Faith Fund
On May 20, 2020, Anthony "Cooley" Riley was hospitalized. That day, he tested positive for COVID 19. Within 24 hours, he was placed on life support. Ever since, he has been fighting for his life. Currently, he is in "critical but stable" condition.
Of course, he is so much more than his current condition. He is a loving husband, father of 11 children, several grandchildren, countless Godchildren, and a generous community leader of the Saint Cloud, MN community. He goes above and beyond to serve his community--especially with his superb driving abilities! He is known at one of the local Boy's & Girls Clubs, for example, as "Uncle Cooley," as he makes sure kids arrive home safely on countless nights. Every waking day, besides the ones he has been sick, he works hard to provide for his family and give back to his community.
He has always been kind and generous. Living within the township of Altgeld Gardens (southside of Chicago) from the 1980s until 2002, he empowered youth within one of America's proverbial "ghettoes" through entrepreneurship. He would take them to local suburbs to "sell candy." Additionally, he taught his son the importance of independence through exposing him to his Uncle's business ventures. Overall, he has passed down the gift of hard work through service to others.
As he has been unable to work, due to being in a coma, the family has had a significant loss of income. We are asking you all for help. The money will be used for the following:
1. Repair his two vehicles he primarily uses for his work
2. Miscellaneous family expenses
3. Celebrate his birthday and Father's Day
