<div>Als wir 2014 das erste Mal in die Antarktis gereist sind, waren wir von ihrer unberührten Schönheit, ihrer unendlichen Weite und ursprünglichen Reinheit tief beeindruckt. Als wir dann auf dem Gipfel des Mt. Vinson, des höchsten Berges der Antarktis gestanden sind und diese weiße Unermesslichkeit gesehen haben, war uns klar, dass wir unbedingt hierher zurückkommen möchten, um länger zu bleiben und das Innere der Antarktis besser kennenzulernen. Acht Jahre später sind wir erneut am „Blue Ice Runway“ (Union Glacier Camp) gelandet. Diesmal hatten wir vor, eine neue Route zum Südpol zu eröffnen. Diesen 880 Kilometer langen Weg sind wir im Vierer-Team „unsupported“ (ohne Versorgungsdepots und Unterstützung aus der Luft und nur mit Ski und Schlitten) gegangen. 50 Tage waren wir auf uns allein gestellt – und mit allen Herausforderungen und Schwierigkeiten konfrontiert, die die Antarktis zu bieten hat.

<div>Was war das Schönste an dieser Expedition? An dieser entferntesten, kältesten und menschenfeindlichsten Umgebung der Welt? Die Einsamkeit, die grenzenlose Weite, die erhabene Schönheit der Natur und die Möglichkeit, die Offenbarung des Göttlichen im eigenen, tiefsten Inneren zu erleben und vorgegebene Grenzen, Erwartungen und Vorstellungen zu überwinden. Diese neue Route haben wir <strong>„Peace oft the Heart“</strong> <strong>(offiziell: Filchner Ice Shelf – Support Force Glacier – South Pole)</strong> getauft, weil sie trotz aller Widerstände tiefen Frieden in unsere Herzen gebracht hat – <strong>und Alexandra einen Eintrag ins Guinness® Buch der Weltrekorde.</strong>

<div>Nach dieser Expedition möchten wir nun zeigen, dass die eigenen Grenzen verschiebbar sind und junge Menschen inspirieren, an sich selbst und an ihre Kräfte zu glauben, ihrem Weg zu folgen und ihre Träume zu leben. So entstand <strong>unser</strong> <strong>soziales Herzensprojekt</strong> <strong>„Live your dreams“</strong>, mit dem wir kostenlose Vorträge an Schulen und Universitäten halten. Die Begeisterung, die wir in den Augen junger Menschen sehen, ihre Faszination für das Abenteuer und die Antarktis, ihr Verständnis für die Umwelt, ihr tiefer Wunsch nach Wundern bestärken uns in unserem neuen Vorhaben, ein noch herausfordernderes Projekt zu starten, in die Antarktis zurückzukehren und etwas Außergewöhnliches zu wagen.

<div>Unsere neue Expedition startet auf dem antarktischen Hochplateau <strong>beim</strong> <strong>Kältepol („Pole of Cold“)</strong> in der Nähe des Vostok-Sees, wo die bisher niedrigste Temperatur aller Zeiten (minus 89 Grad Celsius) auf der Erde gemessen wurde. <strong>Die über 1.300 Kilometer lange Route verläuft im kältesten, abgelegensten und windigsten Teil des antarktischen Hochplateaus bis zum Südpol.</strong> Wir sind entschlossen, diese Route erfolgreich erstzubegehen und damit zu zeigen, dass das Unvorstellbare möglich ist.

<div>Wir ernähren uns strikt vegan. Auch auf unserer letzten Expedition haben sich drei von uns vollständig vegan ernährt – mit 90% Bioprodukten.

<div>Diese Expedition ist logistisch sehr kompliziert – so wie das Vorhaben selbst. Um beides zu meistern, brauchen wir eure Hilfe. <div>When we traveled to Antarctica for the first time in 2014, we were deeply impressed by its untouched beauty, its infinite vastness and pristine purity. When we stood on the summit of Mt. Vinson, the highest mountain in Antarctica, and saw this white immensity, we knew that we definitely wanted to come back and stay longer in order to get to know the interior of Antarctica better. Eight years later, in 2022, we landed again at the Blue Ice Runway (Union Glacier Camp). This time we planned to open up a new route to the South Pole. We walked this 880-kilometers route as a team of four “unsupported” (without supply depots and air support and only with skis and sledges). We were on our own for 50 days – and confronted with all the challenges and difficulties that Antarctica has to offer.

<div>What was the best about this expedition? In this most remote, coldest and most inhospitable environment in the world? The loneliness, the boundless vastness, the sublime beauty of nature and the opportunity to experience the revelation of the Divine in one's own deepest being and to overcome predetermined boundaries, expectations and ideas. We have named this new route <strong>“Peace of the Heart” (officially: Filchner Ice Shelf - Support Force Glacier - South Pole)</strong> because it has brought deep peace to our hearts despite all the challenges … <strong>and Alexandra achieved an entry in the Guinness® Book of World Records.</strong>

<div>After this expedition, we now want to prove that one's own boundaries can be pushed and to inspire young people to believe in themselves and their strengths, to follow their passion and live their dreams. This is why we started <strong>our</strong> <strong>social project “Live your dreams” </strong>, where we give free lectures at schools and universities. The enthusiasm we see in the eyes of young people, their fascination for adventure and Antarctica, their understanding of the environment, their deep desire for wonders encourages us in our plan to start an even more challenging project, and return to Antarctica to dare something extraordinary.

<div>Our new expedition starts on the Antarctic high plateau <strong>at the Pole of Cold </strong>near Lake Vostok, where the lowest temperature ever measured on Earth (minus 89 degrees Celsius) was recorded. <strong>The route, which is over 1,300 kilometers long, runs through the coldest, most remote and windiest part of the Antarctic high plateau to the South Pole.</strong> We are determined to be the first team to successfully complete this route with skis and sledges only and show that the unimaginable is possible.
