Answers For Shannan

These are the Gautschi's. Luna, the tiniest of them all. Stella, the best big sister ever. Phil, a lovable and dorky dad. We can't forget the reason we are here, the mother of this fantastic pack, Shannan. The last thing they ever wanted to have to do in life is start a go fund me campaign. Unfortunately this is what it has come to and fortunately they have family, friends and loved ones who want to find answers for Shannan.  Since June 12th has been unable walk without support and now uses a wheelchair to move around due to tingling, pain, and numbness in her legs and lower back. We have no answers as to why.  


She is a mother, a wife, an artist, a caretaker, an animal lover, an aspiring gardener, a friend to most that know her and she needs our help. Something is not right and we need to find answers for what is ailing her. On June 14th she was admitted to the ER.  She received a  Spinal Tap, MRI's of her brain, neck and upper back, numerous blood tests, EMG to check nerve health and 2 Lymes Disease Test.  All test results have come back normal. Does this look normal?


She has had a second opinion from a neurologist that has said she is fine. She was also denied as of July 9th by the Mayo Clinic neurology referral. She is now being sent home and following up with physical and occupational therapy. She has used up all the options she has with minimal insurance and everyone seems unwilling to work on the further discovery of the problem. Which is where we come in to help an amazing family figure out what is wrong and give them time to do it as a family.


Let's help the Gautschi's while we get some Answers for Shannan. Donate whatever you are willing. A little can go a long way.  Funds raised will primarily be used for medical bill's and housing while Phil is unable to work as he provides the physical support needed to his wife and children during a confusing time.
