Our amazing friends Matt and Adrienne Fairbank's two year old son Anson was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL for short). While this news is every parent and persons worst nightmare, the Fairbanks are showing immense courage and strength, as they begin Anson's fight to beat Leukemia. Together we can all help support #ansonstrong
They will spend the next 30+ days at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland while Anson receives his "Phase 1" chemotherapy treatments. After they are released from OHSU, Anson will continue to travel back and forth, at least once a month to Portland, for further treatments and monitoring. They will have to continue this schedule for three years to ensure that Anson remains healthy! They could use any and all help we as their friends and community can manage.
Adrienne is self-employed and the money that is raised will be used to help the family with travel, lodging and food expenses while Adrienne stays in Portland with Anson and Matt travels back and forth from Pendleton. Any extra will be used to pay what surely will be a mass of medical bills and prescription costs.
An account has also been set up at Columbia Bank under Anson Fairbank's name if you would prefer to help in that way!
