Ansley's Mission Trip to Kenya

This summer I have been given the opportunity to embark on a mission trip to a remote village 20 miles outside of Nakuru, Kenya. I am traveling with a medical missions team that will be supporting the needs of over 1000 children in the region through an organization called the Kenya Project. I will be leaving on May 27th to fly to Nairobi, Kenya and returning to Atlanta, Georgia on June 10th.

The missions group consists of a psychiatrist to assess the mental health of the children in the orphanage, a construction team, an administration team, and the medical team that I am a part of. My primary job will be to collect the basic medical information and to perform an eye exam on each of the children in order to update their medical profiles. Other members of the medical team will be responsible for providing medical aid and health education to the people of the village.

One way that I am asking for support is through financial aid. The total cost of this trip is well over $2500. In order to make this trip more affordable I am asking for financial donations of any size to help pay for the cost of this trip. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
