Ansley's Brain Tumor

Donation protected
In November of 2017, Ansley started having terrible headaches. After many doctors appointments and still no answers, the pain from one of her headaches landed her in the ER. A CT was done where a mass was discovered on her brain, and she was immediately taken to Children's Hospital in Savannah at Memorial. After further testing she was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor called craniopharyngioma. While the tumor is non-cancerous, it is very cystic. She had her first surgery in December to probe the cysts that were found, and we were hopeful then that she would be able to be treated with radiation therapy alone. This week she had a follow up MRI where another cyst was discovered. She will most likely end up having another surgery, along with radiation. As most of you know, and for those who don't, Savannah is a two hour drive for us. Right now we're going back and forth multiple times a week for appointments, and when her radiation starts it will be every day. So many people have asked how they can help, and while we hate asking, the financial burden of these trips is a big stressor, on top of our main concern - which is Ansley's health. Any little bit helps, and in advance, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you can't donate, which we totally understand, please keep Ansley in your prayers!
