My mom was assaulted in front of her workplace Chinese Performing Arts Center at 6148 Bollinger Rd (@ Miller Ave), San Jose near Tea Top boba shop just after 2pm on 8/11/17. My mom's assailant is at large.  In order for the criminal case to move forward, we need more witness testimony. Anyone with information about the case can contact Detective Brian Meeker or Detective Sgt. Raul Martinez at [phone redacted], or leave a tip with Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at 408-947-STOP (7867) or svcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward.

My mother, Ann Woo was a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend to many. Generous, loving, strong, compassionate are words people often use to describe Ann. She was a mother to this community. She has always brought people together in her public and private life. By sheer determination and ingenuity, she can make the impossible possible.
Ann is an accomplished community leader. She founded Chinese Performing Arts of America 26 years ago, served as Executive Director of the Chinese Folk Dance Association of San Francisco for ten years, and co-founded the Asian Heritage Council in the South Bay in 1984. A pioneer in her field, Ann earned a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at UC Berkeley, where she was the only woman in her class. As an electrical engineer, she earned 9 patents in her 30 year career.
Thank you for all the Love and Support. - Tina
