Annual George Dillman Fundraiser

Donation protected
It’s that time of year again… As most of you know I was engaged to an amazing man who tragically passed away in an accident on October 9th 2008. George was the type of guy that would take his shirt off his back to help another person. He was the kindest, funniest, and most wonderful man that I ever met. He was a volunteer fire fighter, he was a volunteer paramedic and an all around super hero. To honor him and his incredibly generous and altruistic nature, money is raised each October to help someone in need. This year I am honored to be raising money for Wes Pak.

Wes is a 12 year old boy from Virginia who has been battling stage 4 neuroblastoma for more then half of his life. He was diagnosed at 5 years old and has since relapsed 5 times. Him and his family have traveled back and forth from their home in Virginia to his top team of doctors in NYC at Memorial Sloan Kettering for extensive treatment and care. Wes' most recent scans revealed that Wes' cancer has spread. After 7 and a half years of fighting he is being removed from treatment. His Doctor feels he has too much disease and that more treatment would be harmful.

The money that we raise will help Wes and his  family. In addition to a donation, I would like to ask everyone who reads this to say a prayer for this boy and his family. I am so grateful for all the support.
