Ann Tadewald Jacobs~ Heart Surgery

Ann (Tadewald)Jacobs has been a friend of mine for 61 years. We met in 4th grade in Casper, WY and have stayed in touch over the years as we married, moved and raised families. My name is Carole (Jensen) Garner and am writing this brief story to inform you of Ann's great and sincere need for financial help.
Ann's husband, Kirk, broke his little toe in 1982 and was told he needed surgery. This left him with a staph infection, treated with the wrongly prescribed antibiotic, Keflex, which caused a toxic reaction, colitis and nerve damage. He also suffers from a complication of Lyme Disease (Morgellons Disease) and Diabetic Neuropathy. Kirk, for 34 years, has been permanently disabled as a chronic pain patient.
Ann has been Kirk's 24/7 caregiver and has recently been told she needs open heart surgery.
Her surgery is scheduled for January 12, 2017 in Loveland, CO at the Heart Center of the Rockies. She doesn't know what it is going to cost but is trying to get answers from Medicare and Medicaid, which gets complicated when she lives in WY and surgery will be in CO.
Medical bills for Kirk over the years and now the pre-surgery bills for Ann have drained their retirement fund. She is at a loss as to how surgery and rehab will be covered. While Ann is in recovery and rehab Kirk will need 24 hour care, which is another sure but unknown expense.
And........they are both in need of extensive dental work.
Due to the medical debts they recently lost their home, through foreclosure, in Laramie, WY. Ann is currently battling to get their home back. They have been approved for housing assistance but that can take up to a year before the assistance is actually in place.
I am asking and praying that this little bit of information willl be enough for you to make a donation of any amount to Ann. Funds are needed as soon as possible as there are many bills already overdue and the expense of the January surgery weighs heavy on her.
I am sure recovery will be easier when she learns there are friends caring for her and praying for a speedy and complete recovery.............in health and home.
