Annmarie Iya

Annmarie was rushed to the emergency room on June 15 to treat a major allergic reaction. She hasn’t been home since then. After two months of testing and treatment in our hospital in Anchorage, she was still unable to eat, and we were told that there were no local options for her recovery. She was transferred to a specialty clinic in Colorado in August.

Insurance does not cover travel costs for her and her family, and may not cover the second stage of her treatment in Colorado, which is expected to last through November. Annmarie had never been away from her family before, and now she has been on her own, thousands of miles away, for several weeks. We need help covering travel and lodging expenses so that we can stay with her and help with her recovery. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
