It took a lot for me to do this because I never thought I’d need to ask people for money. My mum is currently unemployed (has been looking for a while...at least we have food stamps). When my mum was employed, we were getting insurance but that ended when she got laid off. My sister recently moved out of our town home. When she lived with us, her income was helping us immensely; once she left, I was left paying much more than I can afford in my house.
The actual reason I’m doing this is because last night (3/20) I was riding my bike through a dirt trail and something got caught on my tire and I flipped and fell onto my left leg...It cracked, twisted and dislocated in multiple locations (see photo above). The two bones on the leg are the Fibula & the Tibia...I fractured them so hard that they moved a bone length away from its original location & also cracked into pieces in some parts. The pain has been terrible. But I’m mostly upset that I can’t be “on the run” like I usually am. I have to be bedridden and that is hell to someone who has so much to do. My calendar was full these next couple of weeks...not anymore sadly. It’s like life said...”you’re struggling with $ right now so I’m just gonna throw a broken leg and a medical bill on you right quick”. I am just being honest... I cannot afford my bill.
Money rules the world sadly & since we don’t have free healthcare in the US, I’m forced to be in debt until I can pay it off.

Update: I did my first surgery today and they added pins to my bones to keep them in place . I feel like bionic woman except with pain in my metal parts ha.
