Deciding to turn Devestation into Hope...The Making of Miracle Baby Moss...
They were married in 2007 and in 2011, Jeff and Annie decided it was time to grow their family. After years of trying, praying, and holding onto a promise, they decided to take the next step and see a fertility specialist. In 2014, through the wisdom of a great doctor, they were advised Annie needed to undergo a laparoscopic surgery to see if there were underlying issues. It was discovered that Annie had stage 4 endometriosis. The surgery and recovery were much more invasive than expected. But, they continued to hold onto hope and the promise they felt the Lord placed in their hearts for children. After Annie's surgery, the doctor advised the couple that In-Vitro Fertilization would give them the greatest chance to have children. It took Annie and Jeff much time to get to a place where they felt In-Vitro was the route to their medical miracle.
In-Vitro averages in excess of $25,000 for couples to receive the care, medicines, and ultimately the miracle baby they long for. This was no different for Jeff and Annie.
As of October 2016, the Moss family was prepared and embarked on this journey with great hope and expectancy. Over the course of three months Annie made weekly doctors appointments, blood draws, daily shots and a retrieval surgery, while working diligently on her business to raise the funds they needed to move forward. The outcome was 8 embryos! It was a day to celebrate!
After her body had time to heal, the embryo transfer was scheduled for January 2017. Everything the doctors wanted to see was aligning and their hopes grew high. The transfer was successful! When Annie went for her bloodwork to see the results several days later, the first test came back positive, indicating pregnancy. However, a few days after this result the second pregnancy test was a negative result, indicating a loss. Understandably this was a very hard day for them and they continue to heal.
Annie and Jeff recently met with their doctor. Their physician is confident they will have children of their own if they are willing to continue to move forward and try another frozen transfer. Frozen transfers average about $4,000. Many women do not see pregnancy on the first or sometimes second round, but Annie and Jeff have made the choice to move forward and try again in faith. They strongly sense this is the path the Lord has led them travel in trust with Him in order for them to meet their children. If you would like to partner with them on this journey to their miracle, they are inviting you to do so. May the Lord bless you and may we see this sweet little miracle of baby Moss come forth soon!
