Annette needs YOUR help!

Please take the time to read this & donate anything you can, to my dear friend Annette Lawless.

Annette is 55 years old & currently battling cancer for the 4th time. Something no one should ever have to do.
She worked as an RN for 27 years in labor & delivery, until she became too ill to work, 3 years ago. At that time, she applied for disability which took 2 years to get. So she used all of her life savings & 401k to live on & pay for the medicines & copays, which were over $20,000 in 2014 alone.
She needed public assistance for a year in 2011 & is being forced to repay much of it now.
1st diagnosis: 2000 Breast cancer. She had 3 surgeries, 3 months of chemo, was violently ill & lost all her hair. Followed by 37 rounds of radiation for 7 weeks.
The insurance company refused to pay for a BRACA test at this time, even though she has a strong family history of cancer. She beat cancer & lived almost 10 yrs cancer free...she thought.
2nd diagnosis: April 2010, Stage 2c Ovarian cancer.
3 large tumors, 1 embedded in her pelvic wall. This meant a total hysterectomy & 15 months of experimental chemo.
After all this, insurance finally paid for the BRACA test, which was positive. That meant a double mastectomy done in April 2012. Because of the radiation in 2000, the incision wouldn't  heal.
3rd diagnosis: October of 2012, Ovarian cancer.  Underwent removal of a softball sized tumor from her pelvic wall & 7 more months of chemo. In July 2013, she had surgery to close the incision that had been unhealed since 2012. She's had 12 cancer  & reconstructive surgeries just since 2010, with 80 bags of chemo. Through all of this, Annette has remained positive & encouraging to anyone she talks to. She gives others with cancer hope constantly.
4th diagnosis: October 2014, Ovarian cancer returned with a spot on her lung & liver.
She will finish chemo in mid March.
On top of this, during the SNOVEMBER STORM, the roof collapsed on her apartment. She had to move all her things into storage & stay in a hotel till her insurance ran out on January 20, 2015. She is currently homeless but staying at various friends houses from week to week.
Please give any amount you can, she really needs help & really deserves it because she inspires so many others, all the time.
