Annets Cancer Fund

Annet & William Ream are parents of 2 beautiful girls.  Annet has been battling Colon Cancer for 4 years. With 3 major surgeries removing tumors from her colon, & ovaries along with chemotherapy, the tumor board at MD Anderson approved a very intensive surgery called "HIPEC".  On October 11, 2017, highly qualified Oncologists attempted this surgery on Annet, however once inside her, they opted to Stop the surgery due to the disease spreading in very high risk areas.  Doctors informed this family that surgery would no longer help her & instead high doses of Chemotherapy.  Chemo has been keeping the tumors from growing but they are too dangerous to remove without damaging major organs.  

After much prayer, she & her husband have opted a different route for treatment instead of chemotherapy. She will be admitted to Oasis of Hope, at a cost of $30,500 & they specialize in different forms of treatment of this disease.  Annet wants to be transparent with her family & friends, she understands that perhaps not all people will agree with her decision, however, she is at peace & filled with hope with thier decision.  The cost of treatment will not cover work lost or transportation to & from the clinic.  This center has obtained positive results in clearing or prolonging cancer growth in patients to extend their way of life longer without damaging "good" cells.
