Anne Cox was diagnosed with Appendiceal Adnocarcinoma in February 2012, after an emergency surgery following the rupture of her appendix. She underwent a major debulking and hipec chemo surgery in 2014. Her cancer was kept at bay for less than a year and returned. She completed 29 rounds of chemo while raising her 2 children as a single mom and continuing to work. She took a break from chemo in November 2017 to try an experimental immunotherapy trial. After 2 months she found out that her disease had progressed and metastasized to many other locations including lungs, liver, bones, and spine. Starting  in January of this year she has suffered from many other complications due to the metastasis . Anne is discussing the next steps in a treatment plan with her team of doctors. She is no longer able to work her dream job as a Teacher with the severe pain she suffers daily. This is a way for her friends & family  to support Anne and her children. Funds raised will go towards everyday living expenses and medical bills.
