Shortly after retiring from teaching and moving with her husband Doug (and Oakley) from Groveland, MA to Savannah, Georgia to start the next chapter of their lives, Anneliese was diagnosed with Sarcoma in early 2017. She has endured surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, rehabilitative therapy and has been commuting between Savannah and Jacksonville, Florida for treatment. Doug, Christian, Hillary and Ryan have been with her all the way to love, support and help fight the battles. Expenses related to her treatment and logistics continue to grow. Though the family may no longer live up North, they are still in our thoughts and hearts daily and we would like to help offset their expenses as much as possible. Anneliese is a friend to so many and always at the ready to help out. This is one way we can support her and her family across the miles.
