Anna's Medical Trip

About ten years ago, my dear friend, Anna, had a very unfortunate trampoline accident. She spent a lot of time receiving Chiropractic care which completely healed her injured upper neck. After visiting her doctor again for a follow up, after being well for several months, she was once again in pain after that follow up visit. Anna was the victim of negligence at her trusted doctor's hands. Since that visit, she now has Scoliosis and muscular skeletal debility.
Since then, she has seen a few different doctors in her area and due to a variety of reasons, has been unable to get her back and brain stem healed again. Due to the placement of her injury, she requires a specialist who knows how to treat the very upper portion of her spine.
She has discovered another specialist who she is confident will be able to help her. He has many years of experience in healing in this specific area of the spine and is a trusted doctor in his community.
Anna has a teenage son who needs her to be physically well to care for him when he comes home from school in the afternoons. Unfortunately, the afternoons are when the pain in her back becomes too much for her to do much at home. Her husband works nights to support the family. Anna would like to contribute to her family's finances, but each afternoon the pain overtakes her and she is, therefore, unable to work outside the home.
The treatment in Tennessee which Anna knows would help her, would last about 6 to 7 months. Anna would live there during that entire time period and her Pastor will be connecting her to local families who are willing to accommodate her during treatment for a reasonable cost. However, Anna and her family have very little savings with which to contribute to this trip and treatment. The money raised from this campaign would go completely to Anna's trip to Tennessee, her stay while there and her doctor appointments.
Anna is hoping to start the trip as soon as possible since her pain is worsening and her ability to care for her family becomes less and less.
Anna has been a Spanish tutor to me and my family for the past 7 months. She is a warm and caring person whose sole mission is to help her family and be a kind person. The misfortune of her accident, coupled with some incompetent medical care, has led her to the desperate decision to travel a great distance and leave her family for an extended period of time with the hope of completely healing her neck and spine and return to her family duties.
Anna and her family have been praying for this campaign to come to be and for the kindness of strangers to come to fruition. I plan on doing everything I can to help this lovely woman and I hope you can help a little, too. We would be extremely grateful.
