Annabelle Maltese dog

Annabelle is a 20month Maltese weighing just 2lbs. She was rushed into the vets on Monday  by her owner Mell ,  Annabelle was unable to hold her head up properly tilting it to one side or stand independently . The vet kept her in thinking it maybe a middle ear infection, but she has now be on antibiotics for two days with no improvement. The vet has suggested that Annabelle should go for a brain scan in Surrey, and has been told it will cost £480 for consultation, plus an MRI scan which could cost up £2000. Followed by what procedure after that. My friend Mell is beside herself as she doesn’t have that kind of money due to unforeseen circumstances. Please if anyone can help , whether is be a small or large contribution she would be eternally greatful .
