Story Updated: 3/31
Annabel has been struggling with chronic constipation that has the potential of becoming life threatening. Happy to say we are seeing some improvement. She currently requires a lot of at home care which includes 3 medications around the clock. She also has several upcoming follow up visits including a specialist appointment to get an ultrasound to find the underlying cause of her constipation.
She's 9 years old and the sweetest girl. Known to be very shy, she is deeply bonded with her Momma Carolyn. Despite her own anxiety, Annabel is always the sweetest patient. She's never bitten or scratched her Mom or Veterinary staff - even when the most unpleasant procedures are required.
She's been extremely helpful to her Momma Carolyn as an emotional support animal. Due to Carolyn's own chronic medical conditions and limited financial resources, we're asking for help to get Annabel the care she needs.
We've already had to locate over 1k for treatments thus far and still need more funds since her condition is ongoing and we still have a lot of unanswered questions to what is causing this. :(
While Carolyn's immediate family has been so supportive and done what they can financially, we're running out of resources. Any amount you can donate or spread the word is extremely appreciated. Please help Annabel anyway you can.
