Anna Terrazas Fundraiser

It's never easy reaching out to friends and family for help, but when you need it - there is no better backup plan than those who love you.  Most likely you are reading about this Go Fund Me for Anna because you read about it on Facebook where she has enjoyed keeping up with friends and family.  What you might not know is that she has taken a serious turn for the worse, and we need your help.  So many people have recently offered to help or told us “If there is anything I can do...”. Well, I'm afraid the answer to that offer now is...yes, there is. 

Mom was under home health care and about a month ago, she needed more care and was put under "in home" hospice.  On Tuesday, May 26th she fell and fractured a rib.  She has been moved to La Mesa to live at Lisa's home and there are expenses for which Mom doesn't have the funds to cover.  We'd like to make these last days as comfortable as possible.  What we need help with:  We need help with caregivers because she is unable to walk.  That will be the majority of the expense we will have in the coming months. Hospice will only provide limited contact and care.  We need to make modifications to the bathroom we're using for her and some other parts of the room.   Simple things such as a padded bolster to help her sit up will be a big help and a lap tray be able to feed her in bed.

Part of the reason that Mom is so loved by so many is her sweet nature and her desire to always help others, whether it was volunteering at her church, donating to the Sister Evelyn Mourey Center, or helping with events at the Imperial Valley Museum.  So, if you were touched in any way by her loving ways, would you consider perhaps a donation to help her live out the rest of her days in comfort?  Don't feel that you have to make a huge donation to make a difference!
