Anna, Kyle and Emma Damrell

Dear Friends and Family,
On October 9th many of us were shocked to read this social media post from our Dear Friend and Family member Anna Topor-Damrell:
“I hate posts like this, but here it goes. Pay attention to your body! This week I went to the doctor for what I thought was pulled muscle that just wasn't healing, I hate doctors and usually just deal with whatever it may be on my own. Well, today I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. We are in shock and taking it one day at a time. Kyle and Emma have been absolutely amazing and the support I've already recieved is overwhelming and I appreciate all of it! I love you all and am extremely grateful you are in my life. I WILL beat this!!”
In a little over a month we’ve witnessed how evil and quickly cancer can rob someone of their most precious gifts ~ Health & Time! We’ve also witnessed the strength and determination of a Warrior. Anna has battled fiercely and handled this “against all odds” challenge with courage and grace. Kyle has been an amazing partner, cheerleader and rock of support. Their relationship exemplifies the wedding vow “in sickness and in health”.
Kyle recently shared this update from the hospital as he stood watch by Anna’s side:
“Today I see the sun shining very bright. Anna and I had another conversation with the chemo doctor. Anna made the decision to continue to fight this fight and start Chemo treatment. Even though she has a 10% chance with the treatment. I know my wife would, she is a very strong woman. This treatment might start soon. I will keep you updated on her progress. Thank you. Anna, Emma and I really appreciate it. “
It has been said that God gives his toughest battles to his strongest Soldiers. This is certainly true of Anna, Kyle and Emma.
The road ahead is difficult and unsure. We believe in the miraculous healing power of God our Father. We as Friends and Family are God’s Angels on earth. This Family that we love needs our financial support. Please give anything in you heart to show your love and support to the Damrell Family.
