Don Greenleaf met  Ann O'Keefe from Salem MA
Joe O'Keefe`s baby girl!
They were married on  May 3,1997.
Not to long after came Cameron, then  Cullen.
That is the begining of their love story.
A year ago Ann was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
She has done an incredible  job fighting this battle everyday.  A few weeks ago they found out the cancer had spread to her brain.   As you can imagine this was tough news to hear. Once again , Ann is strong!
They spent almost 2 weeks at Mass General Hospital, with some heavy meds and treatments.
Ann has not been able to work for the last year. Don has been working 12 hour days  with Salem Glass to try to keep up with the finaces. Recently he had to take a layoff in order to be home. Family is important to them.  For two hard working people, who are   always putting others before themselves asking for HELP is out of the question! ( a few of us may be in trouble when they find out what we are doing.)
With the future uncertian and the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis....We are asking on behalf of Ann  and Don  any support you can give.
This will at least ease some of the stress they are dealing with at this time.  We are aware this is something they would never ask for themselves.
People are always saying "let me know if there is anything I can do".  We are asking now, this is what we can do.  As Don would say  " No, No,  we are all good.  So , how are you? The kids?"

Please spread the word , share the page.
We are very greatful for any donation.
Should  Don have a hard time taking this money. We will make sure Cameron and Cullen will have a College fund started.
Thank you so very much for reading the story of
The Greenleaf Family.

This is a beautiful post from Camille O'Keefe

Ann O'Keefe Greenleaf is my daughter. She is the wife of Don Greenleaf and two wonderful children. Ann is loving and caring. She brought joy to her family and friends. Great sense of humor. She works at the Atrium in Danvers for 17 years. She works with Alzheimer patients. The patients and families of the parents loved her. She loves camping. She loves Maine. She is a mother who is involved with every aspect of her children's lives. Ann was diagnosed with Stage Four Breast Cancer in April 2016. She had a year of chemotherapy. Then a scan was done. She developed headaches and went to her doctor at the Mass. Gen. In Boston. The cancer had spread to her brain. The surgery was done that night. She underwent 10 days of intense radiation. She was at Mass. gen for 10 days. From June 20to July 7th. Ann's family has been with her every step her fight with this vicious disease. Someone from her family was at the hospital every day. They support her and love her. Her sisters Mary Sullivan Jane O'Keefe, Kathy O'Keefe. Brothers Kevin, Eddie, Joe. Ann list a brothe, Shawn to cancer 20 years ago. Mary and I picked Ann up for her treatments as the medication made her unable to drive. Ann's brain surgery consisted of putting a shunt in her brain to remove the fluid. Courageously she came through that. Ann's family has been their with food, clothing, helping wherever they could.
My wonderful, beautiful daughter is so much more than cancer. She is a woman who is vital. Sometimes happy. Sometimes mad. Sometimes sad. Good wonderful times. Her beautiful smile. Her presence will light up a room. Ann is a fighter. She I'll take one day at a time. Love you so much Ann.
