My name is Ann Grande and I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma 1 yr ago in June. The diagnosis came only 3 short months after getting married last year and turned our world upside down.
My husband and I at the time of the diaggnosis were self employed. When you are self employed you only make money when you work. Financially the cost of cancer has been extreme. We struggle to pay our bills and are having to move out of our home in a few short weeks because we can't afford the rent.
My battle with cancer has led me to an alternative treatment that is available at a hospital in Mexico. They have a lot of success curing Melanoma through this program but it is not covered by insurance. U.S. Doctors have told me that they don't have anything else for me in terms of treatment. I am currently on the hospice program but not giving up on a miracle that I could raise the money for this program.
Im thankful for every day but ultimately would be so beyond blessed to be able to have 40 more years with my amazing new hubby.
Thus far I have endured 5 surgeries, 4 different treatment protocols that failed, radiation, numerous visits to hospitals. Your help is greatly greatly appreciated.
