We - students, teachers, businesses owners, and employees - are striking for our governmental leaders to create a just transition to green, carbon-free economics, true environmental justice, indigenous sovereignty and recognition, healthy biodiversity, and sustainable agriculture.
Your funds will make our - and your - voice heard, and make a better future for the youth in your neighborhood and around the world.
On September 20th (so soon!) Ann Arbor and Ypsi youth and adults will host a climate strike . We will educate the thousands who show up - hopefully even more than the stunning 3,000 on March 15th - on how they can take action for the climate wherever they are; in school, in a deli, on city council, or in a neighborhood.
Your donation will go towards accessibility (such as ASL interpreters), advertisement, and staging for our incredible youth speakers. Your donations will make our educational goals possible! The donations go into an account made for the Climate Strike, which will be put towards the cost of the next strike.
As a student who will live through the environmental crisis, your donations mean so much to me. We are often told that youth can't make a difference, but with your help, we'll break the rules. Help us help our leaders understand they can - and must - do more to take climate action!
