Anlo Special School

My name is Emma Elinam Salah, the team lead for Butterfly Ghana foundation, and this year, one of our flagship projects is the Anlo special school. The school is a day center that has been established to train children with intellectual disabilities. The main aim of the school is to take these special kids through literacy skills to equip them with life to enable them to become self-sufficient. For these children, it has become imperative to provide them with learning materials and one of our major challenges is finances. There are a lot more of such kids around and we would want to have them in our center but the space and resources do not permit us to accommodate them. The parents of these kids as well, are unable to afford the services of the school. It is the fifth year after the passing on of my mum and it is my wish to do something in honor of her. We need to get a school with boarding facilities, a playground, and other resources to help equip these children. To make this a reality, I appeal to all well-meaning persons to consider donating to support a worthy cause.
