Anita Bowlin's Funeral Costs

My mom's story is a long one. She found out she had ovarian cancer in 2002 and immediately had surgery  to remove it. We were grateful to find out that it was gone, and she was classified as "in remission." In 2014, she began to mysteriously lose a lot of weight and was getting weak. No one had any answers until late 2015, when bloodwork revealed she had cancer. A few doctor visits later, it was determined that she had recurring ovarian cancer in stage 4! A few months and a few trips to a Stanford specialist later, we also learned she had stage 3 rectal cancer. She was in and out of hospitals, dealt with many rounds of C Diff. She spent 2 years taking chemo and radiation treatments, round after round. In September 2017, she decided she was tired of chemo and doctors, and she turned to hospice. At the time, the doctor told her she could only survive 2 months without the treatments. She was a fighter, and she turned those 2 months into 5 months! Even though she had been battling this cruel illness for quite some time, the final expenses are never manageable. Kenneth, her husband of 35 years, is now left to manage the medical expenses and everything else on his own. So we have created this gofundme on his behalf to help give my mother the simple (though still expensive) graveside service she wished for. We appreciate any help people are willing to give.
