WHAT:
- 3 - 5 minute animated short cartoon The Treasure.
- Based on animation from the feature Benny the Barnacle cartoon awaiting distribution.
WHEN:
- Estimated release time: 2 - 3 months.
- This cartoon will come together really fast, since it utilizes existing animation.
HOW:
- Production is underway.
- Background elements used in the feature cartoon are being created and adapted for this animated short.
- This is the first in a series of Benny the Barnacle animated shorts that will accompany the feature cartoon being pitched by the distributor to streaming platforms.
WHO:
- The Treasure is written by Benny the Barnacle creator, Kevin Scott Collier.
- Features besties Benny the Barnacle (Thom Stambaugh) and Killer the Krill (Jose Carlos Gutierrez).
- Animation by Kristen Collier.
- Antagonist character guest voice: TBD.
