Animal Rescue Transport Repair

As many of you know, a lot of our dogs come from California via road transport. There are transports every weekend and these play a crucial role in saving dogs from euthanasia in out of state shelters. The transports drive up and down the West Coast to bring dogs to safety with local rescues.  For several months now, one of our transport partners has not been able to drive because their engine broke down and needs replacing. The loss of this transport has been very difficult and many of our dogs have been stuck in California for weeks because they are in remote areas where other transports do not pick up. For the dogs this means more time in a kennel waiting to get to us. As those kennels fill up, it also means we cannot rescue more dogs because there is no physical room for them until some of them are moved out. 

We are hoping to help our transport partner raise $3000 to replace their engine and make other smaller repairs to the van.  If we can get them back on the road soon, we will be able to get our dogs out and rescue more!
