A refuge for abandoned&abused animals in Guatemala

We have an opportunity to change the lives of MANY precious and innocent beings as well as an ENTIRE generation of people. A friend was called by God to leave everything behind in the US and start a children's orphanage in a remote area of Guatemala. In the midst of this, little did she know that children were not the only ones that would need sanctuary and saving. Everywhere she turns there are animals that are sick, neglected,  dying, and abused in the streets with literally no where to turn to protect them. So a new hope has been born in her heart to build a refuge for these beautiful creatures to find respite and recovery. To, at the very least, experience a loving touch and compassionate hand for probably the first time in their lives. This is how a seed of compassion and empathy for another is planted to change the world. No donation is too little and every bit is going to the purpose of this refuge.
