Angie's Brain Cancer Battle

Donation protected
My name is Rachel and my sister, Angie is battling brain cancer.
Angie is married with 3 young children and has been battling this disease for the past 7 years.
She was diagnosed at just 36 years old when the ‘mack truck’ collision of a cancer diagnosis occurred bringing her life and plans to a screeching halt. She has been on treatment ever since alongside multiple surgeries to fight the beast that is brain cancer. Angie and her family lived in the country and because of the nature of the disease and its progression, it became impossible to keep flying back and forth and it was having a great impact on Angie. They eventually had to relocate to the city to help with treatment options.
Our family are a private family and up until this point, Angie has been coping and managing this disease with strength and determination that few would be able to understand. Quite honestly, I don't know how she does it.
Angie's last surgery was in the second half of 2017 when we found out the tumour had now progressed to a grade 4 malignant tumor. The worst result. Unfortunately, recent MRI results have shown the cancer has now doubled in size in only a few short months and the chemo and drugs she has been on are no longer working. Angie now only has the option to go on the drugs, Avastin and Keytruda which the government won't subsidise. Each treatment course is approximately $20,000.00 each. If these drugs don't work, we are currently looking into possible medical trials which may become available either in Australia or overseas. We will not give up and we will keep on fighting and do whatever we can, whatever the cost.

We know that this cancer is going to shorten my sister's life, what we are trying to do though is give her every available chance to prolong that life. Angie is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend.
Angie is a brilliant mother who has led a quiet life and wants to live as long as she can to see her children grow up. Brain cancer is a horrible, horrible disease. The affects of this disease are devastating and just horrendous. Angie now has a very tough road ahead and what I'm trying to do is make it a little less stressful. Any help towards Angie's battle would all go towards the ongoing massive financial costs she is now faced with.
Angie is in the fight of her life and that's what leads me here. Angie is my only sibling and is loved by many so I am here and I am asking for help. Big or small, every little bit helps. Thank you for your support and reading. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will update on her progress when I am able to. Thank you so much.
