My Sister's Keeper - Angela's Fight

It's hard watching someone battling cancer and trying to deal with the physical, emotional, and financial hardships it carries. But, when it's your only sister, it rips you apart.
My sister Angela was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in November. The biopsy showed it was Papillary Cancer and plans for surgery were scheduled.
As with most people who are diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer, the Dr's tell you this is the "good cancer" to get because it's cureable.
Surgery was performed in Jan. with them performing a total Thyroidectomy and removal of Lymph Nodes. The Surgeon said he did not like the color of the nodes but to wait and see what the pathology came back as.
A week later, she was given the diagnosis of Metastatic Papillary Cancer with Tall- Cell Varient (TCV). Less then 1% of people are diagnosed with this type. This is a very agressive form of Papillary Thyroid Cancer (PTC).
After searching and talking with various Dr's regarding treatment, the "City of Hope Hospital" in California was where the best treatment for her type of Cancer could be obtained.
She will be admitted for high dose Radioactive Iodine Therapy (I-131) the begining of March. She will be there for three weeks since she needs to be isolated due to her radioactive contamination.
There is a very long road ahead with various treatments.
The fiancial burden of hospital admission, treatments, test, and airfare is unbelievable.
She knows my Mother and myself will care for her nine year old daughter, but of course she still worries.
I want her to focus on her recovery, not bills, or if she will be able to afford more treatments that lay ahead.
This diagnosis has made our whole family realize how precious and fragile life is. I appreciate any help you can provide Angela during this long journey. Will provide updates on her journey.
