Angels Ink Foundation (MB)

Angels Ink Foundation Manitoba exists based on the need we see in our community for Paramedical tattooing.  Paramedical tattooing is a service provided by specifically trained and certified experts. This process aids with pigment loss, alopecia, hair loss due to medical treatments, areola reconstruction and the diminishing of surgical scars and scars left by burns.

Paramedical tattooing provides confidence and self-assurance for those who may be dealing with lasting effects of trauma.  Angels Ink Foundation aims to provide a need we see in our community, without the financial burden.

" As a breast cancer survivor, I can tell you that having areola tattooing provided the last step in healing.  It helped with emotional, physical and mental health.  As well, my eyebrows did not grow back.  Microblading helped to give me back myself.

These procedures help those who may be dealing with lasting effects of trauma regain their self-confidence.  However, it is often an expensive procedure and considered cosmetic.  It is not funded by public healthcare. 

Paramedical tattooing can help someone who has been burned by covering the scar tissue and making it less noticeable.  It can help with hair loss due to a trauma by adding micro-pigmentation to the scalp for a fuller look.  In cases of hair loss due to chemotherapy, natural-looking eyebrows can be created through microblading.  Following a mastectomy, an areola tattoo for a breast can make a person feel whole again.
