On 07/09/2025, our lives took an unexpected turn when our baby was born prematurely at 32 weeks via an emergency C-section at Ysbyty Gwynedd, due to severe preeclampsia. This sudden arrival has placed our little one under the exceptional care of the Special Care Baby Units (SCBU) at both Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Ysbyty Gwynedd.

During this challenging time, we have been profoundly moved by the dedication and compassion of the nurses and midwives from Llifon ward. Their tireless efforts and expertise have given our baby the best possible start in life. To express our gratitude and support their invaluable work, we are launching this fundraising campaign.

Our goal is to raise funds to provide essential resources for the SCBU teams and Llifon ward acknowledging them as the true superheroes they are. Additionally, we aim to gather items that will directly benefit premature babies and their families during their stay in the SCBU. A portion of the donations will be allocated to engage a skilled individual to knit items such as teddies, hats, and blankets, providing comfort and warmth to these tiny patients.
