Lee- ann has been recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has two children and is Originally from Eastport, NL, now residing in Torbay,NL.
With the road ahead the goal of this fund raiser is to help relieve the financial stress that she may be faced with during her illness. Please donate every 5$ helps. Being diagnosed with this has been hard enough so we are here to see her through this. Thank you all for your support to her and her family ! For all those wondering the outcome of Lee- Anns appointment this am as im sure you all understand this is more than overwhelming so she asked me to make this post for her.
She seen Dr Maroun and was told it is a meningioma. This was the best case senario to hear today. This is a non cancerous tumor it appears. There will be a team consult and consults with Halifax. Leeann will have to go to halifax at some point and require a surgery or more than one to remove the tumor. It is large and affects numerous areas of the brain. There could be deficits after there may not. All complications has been explained to her and the decisions the dr feels is best to have the surgery once the team has determined its plan.
Leeann has been taken off work indefinitely.
She is so thankful for all your prayers and love and concern. She is in a bit of a spin from this all right now but is thankful for you all.
