I am so saddened that Angelo has left this life 2/8/2018 due to complications of a recurrence of cancer. His physical body is still in Baton Rouge, however his family is trying to raise money to get him to South Carolina where he will be buried near his grandmother.

Angelo is a track & field athlete who was training for the USA track and field team with aspirations to run in the Olympic Games. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with a form of cancer that became very aggressive within a short amount of time causing significant swelling. He had to undergo a tracheostomy, was on a ventilator and in ICU. He is improving and this is so encouraging, however he has a long road ahead. He is receiving chemotherapy, undergoing dialysis, and participating in physical therapy. He has been hospitalized for over two months total. He had three jobs he was excited about but has been unable to work. He needs help with housing, food, and healthcare. He has gone from a sprinter to a long distance runner in this race we call life. Let's help him win this race.
