Angelo has his back to the wall

Two years ago I had an accident in my garage where I was knocked off a ladder and shattered some teeth on the right side of my face. Because life happens I put fixing me on hold. I'm fighting PTSD, finally got some help but the demons are very strong. It has cost the end of my marriage, the love from my youngest daughter and the respect from my son.  For the first time in my life I am learning how to live alone.  So just when the world starts to calm down life happens again. On May 1st, 2019, after 32 years in uniform, I was no longer able to be the leader I needed to be to look after and protect my officers. I took another job at less money, but I'm happy.  Three weeks ago my father took over $1800 dollars out of his personal checking account to cover repairs on my truck so I could get to work. Today all the drive gears let go in the transmission. I got nothing left. I have always tried to be strong, be there for others at the cost of myself. I am humbled and embarrassed to ask for help. Please do not feel you have to give, I will get through this. Thank you, love you, Angelo
