<div>In February of 2025, Angelica, her husband Pastor Joshua Jackson, and their 4 children were shaken up with trepidation and panic to find out that Angelica had woken up to blurry vision, which would later be revealed to be a hemorrhage in her right eye. After the required treatment and observation of an ophthalmologist, all seemed to be going as planned with a speedy recovery, until a couple of weeks later. Angelica had once again woken up with obscured vision, only this time it was in the left eye, to which a retinal tear was discovered. This required a procedure of laser surgery to repair and to thicken the corneal tissue, only to wake a short time later to another tear in the left retina. She had to go back for a second round of the laser treatment, only to discover a few weeks later a tear in the right cornea, which required even more laser surgery.

<div>It had almost seemed with certainty that the horrific experiences were finally over but was short-lived. Five days after the 3rd laser surgery, she had woken to almost total loss of sight in the right eye with a total retinal detachment. The treatment and recovery of the detachment was the most gruesome and horrific one yet. She had to have her eyeball completely removed from her socket and had a buckle put around it completely and a gas bubble to create pressure inserted. This had caused quite a bit of pain and suffering, multiple trips to Fargo for the specialist, total loss of vision, and unfortunately loss of wages for both Angelica and her husband Pastor Joshua Jackson since she was left without vision. Angelica was forced to lie face down for 50 minutes with 10-minute breaks for 5 days straight to ensure the gas bubble was putting the pressure in the right places of the retina.

<div>Three weeks after the retinal surgery, she had discovered yet another hemorrhage, but this time in the left eye, to which she has already had 2 shots put directly into the eyeball to stop the bleeding. She is now in month 3 of recovery with her vision still not yet fully restored from the retinal detachment.

<div>This family of God has been continuously tested and the strength of their faith and determination has been unmatched. Unfortunately, finances have been a struggle but their love and devotion for others remains. As we all know, bills and various finances don't care about the struggles that are life on this earth. This family has done so much for our community, the churches, and just helping out those in need without even questioning it. It is time that we pull together as children of God and give back to ease the stress and tension to ensure that they are still able to survive and make ends meet.
