Hello! My name is Emilee and I work at Children’s Physicians. About a year ago, I met Angela Taleno. Angela and I worked together for a year and half before she took a lead position in another Children’s clinic. She is one of the most kind-hearted and caring people I have ever encountered. Angela is the type of person that will go out of her way to help anyone in need.
Recently Angela received some news regarding her health that made me realize this generous loving woman who has always been the first to help others may need some assistance from those around her.
Doctors have diagnosed her with having Leukemia, she is going to need a bone marrow transplant.
Angela is a single mother to three young boys ranging from elementary age to high school age. During her medical treatment, Angela will not be able to work. It is my hope that with the help of friends, family, coworkers, and acquaintances, we can raise enough money to take care of the boys and provide food, clothing, shelter, and all other life necessities while their mother is away from work. It is also my hope that we can raise money to help pay for Angela’s medical treatment. Did you know that an average night in a hospital costs $4,200?
Raising this money for Angela would mean so much to her family. My hope is that Angela’s mind stay clear of finances when her only focus right now should be her health and spending time with loved ones.
