Angela Peeler's Victory

Ever since I was 5 years old, I have been best friends with Kaila. Kaila's mom Angie, and my mom, became close friends as our friendship grew. I have been a part of their lives for 15+ years and they are some of the best people I have ever met. In July 2014, one of the sweetest, most caring women (Angie) was faced with one of the worst things possible. The word "cancer" had been given to her as a diagnosis. No one wants to ever experience the heartwrenching  feelings that come along with that word, but she took it and took it better than most would. The tumors had already progressed to the point that they were unable to be operated on. She was faced with weeks and weeks of chemotherapy, and radiation treatment. Plus all of the awful side effects that come from the treatment, and not to mention the emotional/psychological effects. Having two daughters, a husband, and lots of family and friends, she had a lot of support to help her through this... but it would still be tough. Nothing kept her back though, she fought and fought so hard to beat this awful disease. When she was finished with her rounds of treatment, she was told they would do a scan to see how successful it was. I remember Kaila telling me the doctor called her a day or so before Christmas to tell her the tumors had shrank more than they expected! This was awesome news! The doctor decided to take time out of his Christmas vacation/break to call her and tell her this. Eventually, the discussion of surgery was brought up. The surgery was performed on February 9th, 2015 and they successfully removed all of her cancer!!!!!!!!! Now that she is finished with her treatment and surgery, she doesn't have THAT to worry about. So, we pray and pray she will never have to hear the word "cancer" EVER again! She has never asked anyone to help her or her family, so I am taking this into my own hands and reaching out to anyone and everyone who would feel led to give. I can't even imagine the medical expenses she has from all of this, as well as being out of work long-term. Whether it be financially or spiritually, please give whatever you feel is right. Anything helps! I hope this can allow Angie and her family peace and comfort during this challenging time in their lives, to know that there are A LOT of people out there who love them!! God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! Thank you.
