Would You Invest In My Dream To Dance?

Dance is my heart song, passion, and ultimate connection with God. Throughout my life, it has been my anchor, outlet, and a form of release from the array of obstacles that have attempted to seemingly overwhelm me. This gift that God has given me has opened my horizon to the amazing opportunity of being accepted into the professional division for the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive program in New York taking place June 23th through August 2nd.

Ever since I was 12 years old, it has been my dream to dance with the first company of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. I believe the dancers enfleshed the true movement of the human spirit. When they moved, you were moved. What they felt, you felt. I dream to be apart of such an influential movement that reflects and celebrates the inmost parts of the human soul and spirit.

My humble request is that you would support me as I embark on this journey to pursue my dreams by funding this introductory phase at the Ailey Summer Intensive program for six rigorous weeks of dance training with world class instructors in New York City. This money would be used for expenses such as travel, transportation, lodging, food, clothing, emergencies, pocket money, and etc.
