To lose a mother is such a terrible sorrow, that you must hold those closest to you for strength and support. My mother was not only the pillar of our family, our fearless leader, the breath in our lungs but also a great person to our community. She played a critical role in speaking for those who couldn’t speak for themselves. Always first to volunteer a helping hand. She was a lover of books and always reminded us that this planet is ours and our children’s to care for. She raised three strong women, enjoyed her first granddaughter and was loved by all that knew her. Help us honor her in her passing, she deserves that and more.
