My name is Angela Neaver'a Hill and recently I was contacted with an extraordinary opportunity to run for Miss Michigan International representing as Miss Lansing!
I am a fashion editorial/commercial model and started my modeling career last year. While expanding my modeling with photo shoots, I've also participated in numerous fashion shows in the state of Michigan while networking and being a positive role model in the Lansing, MI community!
ABOUT ME
I was born in Georgia, but Michigan raised! I graduated from Central Michigan University with my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and moved to Lansing, MI to begin my career in Human Resources. Aside from my career, I spend majority of my time advocating for the youth community! I volunteer teaching Financial Literacy to 3rd graders for the for Mid-Michigan Junior Achievement Program, President of Toastmaster's International for my corporation as well as an avid volunteer for the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
Why Miss Michigan International?
Although, this is my 1st time competing in a pageant, this would be an extreme blessing and level in my modeling career. Pageants are known to promote female role models while pursing dreams!
I've chosen to be apart of this competition not only to represent the diversity of women but acknowledging how beauty will help the enlargement of self love, leadership and the meaning of equality for all.
This title will give me a platform to advocate for the causes I believe in. I have three strong beliefs that encourage my leadership as a woman and dedicate my personality to strive:
1. To advocate for woman who are changing the narrative and pushing boundaries in the quest towards diversity, equality and leadership.
2. Provide opportunities in the community to develop new skills and build on existing experiences and knowledge.
3. Supporting and uplifting the community by fulfill boundless goals through advocacy and philanthropy.
My goals and beliefs have built a platform for my modeling career which I am so grateful to run as MISS LANSING!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
I never thought I would have this opportunity! I am so grateful to God for this miraculous change which allows me to compete! Thank you everyone for supporting me and believing me. I couldn’t do all this without you all! I am going to be working diligently to save and raise money for the fees and expenses in order to compete for Miss Michigan International in May 2019.
You’ll be donating towards the cover costs for the requirements for the pageant. This will help alleviate a lot on my end. All my pageant fees are due by May 19, 2019 which is less than a month away!
