Angela Clacher (previously Norton)

Unfortunately, after a long battle with cancer, Mrs Clacher passed away on 16th July. Leaving behind her husband and son.

I, myself was taught by Mrs Clacher from 2002-2007 at James Brindley High School, when she was known as Miss Norton.
I also had the privilege of working with Ange at Ormiston Horizon Academy, when I first became a Teaching Assistant 10 years ago.
My son was also taught by Mrs Clacher, which goes to show how much of her life she dedicated to being a teacher, serving 2 generations, and perhaps more in some other cases.

Knowing how dedicated Ange was to giving our children the best, not only teaching them academically, but teaching them life skills and how to become a well-rounded member of society, I thought it might be nice to give back and give our children something to remember her by.
I would love to raise enough money to give to the school to buy a memorial bench for Ange and perhaps even a small memorial garden, where children and staff could go to reflect on their best memories and all that Ange did for them.

Ange, Miss Norton, Mrs Clacher, whatever you knew her by, she touched so many lives, and I think it's important that her memory lives on at the place she loved most.
