Angel in the halls of Scripps La Jolla Hospital

I am currently being treated for a very aggressive cancer that was diagnosed a month ago and I was about to hold a palliative care conference call for all of my friends and family. I was crying, not for myself, but how I was going to be able to say what needed to be said and comfort all those on the call.
As I was trying to put my thoughts together, GOD sent me an Angel from the halls of Scripps Hospital La Jolla. Her name is Carol, a smaller woman with a heart and spirit that filled the room. She could see that I was upset with tears and asked if I needed someone to listen or help. I told her that medically everything is being done, but soon it will be in God’s hands. I now needed to tell my family and friends about what was happening to me.
She showed me her open-heart surgery scare. She knows GOD has a higher purpose for her. When I asked her “how are you doing know”, she said “the black marks have come back.” It was at that moment I knew what GOD needed from me.
She is a single mother with children and raising them on her own. When she applied for disability, she was rejected from her previous hospital employer. She is now working at Scripps and feels so blessed. She has given me permission to share her photo. She was sorry for the mask but assured me under that mask was a huge smile. My family and friends sent me flowers to cheer me up and she told me the importance of having flowers around me in life She made sure my flowers received the best of care.
It would mean everything to me if you could Donate what you can, if it's only $5, that's fine it all helps, every penny counts.
